Privacy Policy
CTYHOP™ Silent Disco — City Hop Social, LLC
City Hop Social, LLC (“CTYHOP,” “we,” “us”) runs silent disco events and equipment rentals in the Detroit and Cleveland areas. This policy explains what we collect when you visit our website, request a quote, or respond to one of our ads, and what we do with it.
If you have a question about anything here, email hello@ctyhop.com.
Information you give us
When you request a quote, book a call, respond to an ad, or email us, we collect what you send — typically:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- The company, school, or organization you’re with
- Event details: date, headcount, venue, city, and what you’re planning
- Anything else you write to us
You can submit this through a form on our website, through a lead form inside Facebook or Instagram, by scheduling a call, or just by emailing or calling.
Lead forms on Facebook and Instagram. If you fill out one of our forms without leaving Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes your answers to us and we handle them under this policy. Meta’s own privacy policy also applies to what happens on their side.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our site, we and our analytics and advertising providers collect:
- IP address, browser, device type, and general location
- Pages viewed, time on page, and the site or ad that sent you
- Advertising click identifiers (such as Google’s
gclidand Meta’sfbclid) and campaign tags (utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign, and similar)
Some of these values are stored in your browser so that if you request a quote later, we can tell which ad or page brought you to us. This lets us measure which marketing actually produces bookings. It is not used to build a profile of you for anyone else.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and comparable tools from:
- Squarespace — hosts the website and keeps it working
- Google Analytics — how people use the site
- Google Ads — measuring which ads lead to inquiries
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel — the same, for our Meta ads
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. The site will still work, but some measurement will be incomplete.
How we use your information
- To answer your inquiry, prepare an estimate, and schedule a call
- To plan, staff, and deliver your event
- To invoice you and keep business records
- To send you marketing email, if you asked for it or we’ve worked together — every message has an unsubscribe link
- To understand which marketing channels work, so we spend sensibly
- To meet legal, tax, and insurance obligations
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information.
We share it with service providers who run parts of our business on our behalf, and only so they can do that work:
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
| HubSpot | Customer records and email |
| Calendly | Scheduling calls |
| Zapier | Moving information between these tools |
| Website analytics and ad measurement | |
| Meta | Advertising and lead forms |
| Squarespace | Website hosting and forms |
| Wave | Invoicing and payments |
| ClickUp | Internal project and event planning |
| Instantly | Business-to-business email outreach |
| Rentman | Equipment and event scheduling |
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our staff, or the safety of people at an event.
Marketing email
If you’d rather not hear from us, use the unsubscribe link in any message or email hello@ctyhop.com and we’ll remove you. We’ll still send messages about an event you’ve actually booked — those aren’t marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and customer records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our tax, accounting, and insurance obligations — typically two to seven years, depending on the type of record — and then delete or anonymize them.
Your choices
Email hello@ctyhop.com and we will, within a reasonable time:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything that’s wrong
- Delete it, unless we’re required to keep it for tax, legal, or insurance reasons
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or national privacy law. Ask and we’ll honor what applies.
Children
Our services are sold to schools, districts, camps, universities, companies, and event hosts — not to children. This website and our advertising are directed at adults who book events, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through them.
We do run events where children are present. At those events, we don’t collect personal information from attendees; any student or camper information stays with the organization that hired us, under their own policies. If you believe a child has given us personal information through our website, email hello@ctyhop.com and we’ll delete it.
Security
We use reputable third-party services and limit access to customer information to the people who need it to do their jobs. No system is perfectly secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
